Clay Balls
A man was exploring caves by the Seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could.
He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock . Inside was a beautiful, precious stone!
Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left.
Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves... Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away!
It's like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it...
We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy. But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person.
There is a treasure in each and every one of us. If we take the time to get to know that person, and if we ask God to show us that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.
May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. May we see the people in our world as God sees them.
I am so blessed by the gems of friendship I have with you.. Thank you for looking beyond my clay vessel.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

A suggestion : read A Course In Miracles (ACIM). Jesus Himself says we are ALL sons & daughters of THE Almighty (Jesus' Father). See what God the Father Himself has to say about us all : 2 Corinthians 6:17-18. Jesus is the Wayshower....he SHOWED us the WAY BACK to the Father. He Himself said, "I of MINE OWN SELF CAN DO NOTHING , but the FATHER, HE doeth the Works." And Jesus lied not. Also, He said, "I go to My Father AND your Father," making Himself one of us.... He was not ashamed "to call US brethren , the Scripture says. The Bible has layer upon layer of revelation, and only the Holy Spirit can reveal its meaning to us, if we seek with all of our Being....we ARE God's Sacred Children, but may not remember nor FEEL that. Does anyone here on this board KNOW how the word ' Holy ' FEELS ? (No, I don't wish to begin an argument, nor bring out ANY "uppitiness" on my part or ANYwhere else.) God's Sacred Experiences that He gives us throughout our lives are not to be shredded by any arguments... Let there be Peace -- TRUE Peace -- among us all.... And, above all......to God be the GLORY! Ha....hmmmm....WHAT change??? I only post quotes from other people. Other people are encouraged to post short quotes too (in this particular thread, that is)....I really don't have much time to read long postings, and don't very often (in other threads as well).... I just wanted this thread to be a place for people to come for refreshing ideas, something new other than the Bible, because "Wisdom is justified of Her Children." (meaning that Wisdom is found EVERYWHERE, not only in Christian Scriptures).

I know that I'm loved by every Godly Christ like being and that the battlefield is right within our minds. I also know that this is a heart to heart discussion board but yet the two of you are trying to silence me because you don't like the scriptures I use.
Let me tell you something about me. When I was awaking up from the Adamic dream by Gods leading I would spend 18 hrs. in the scriptures one day and 20 hrs. in the scriptures another just reading them and Father God would wake me up pulling on my arm and hand and telling me it's time to get back into the scriptures, this would go on for months at a time, then Father sent me out to speak of what I'd learn. I am not an intolerant liberal or a conservative, I'm really an open individual that knows we are God. We are what we eat.
BOP, you suggest I should read A Course In Miracles, is it going to tell me something that God hasn't already told me or will tell me. Is it going to tell me how to do more miracles than I'm already seeing taking place, I don't think so.
There is a lot of admonishment, hatred on this board from some participants toward those who do speak and use scripture, not just in a judgmental way either. In fact one just privately emailed me and told me just that.
We all have issues we all are working through, I love all in spite of those issues.

Alan, I ALREADY know all those Scriptures you quote, as I have read the Bible (esp. the New Testament) copiously (I may not be able to tell you right off the top of my head WHICH Book, chapter & verse it is found in [ I DO have a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, and thus can find any passage I wish ] , but I AM aware of the gist of the NT. If you are of a mind that people cannot be SPOKEN TO by Jesus Christ, then A Course in Miracles is NOT for you. And that is the end of my discussion on this topic. Please let's not go any further than this. If you do, it will only "stir the cauldron" and not further the Peace of Heart-To-Heart's participators. Thank you for your kindly consideration.....please?? (The GREATEST MIRACLE of all, on Earth, is to be totally freed from the Ego... How many of us can say that we do not feel the need to attack anyone on ANY level AT ALL??? Only the Ego MUST attack, AS IF the "other" is "outside of ourselves," instead of as our BROTHER, fashioned of Pure SPIRIT, flawless, as per our Father's Nature and Creativity.) 'Tis GOOD to LISTEN to Jesus! HE AND the Holy Spirit KNOW how to HEAL US, and BRING US BACK TO THE FATHER. I BELIEVE THIS WITH ALLLLLL MY HEART. The Kingdom of Heaven IS within....our Minds!! And our Minds really DO need to BE FOCUSED on our Father's OVERARCHING MIND, and thus BEHAVE like Sacred Children of The ALMIGHTY, with no wrinkle or spot in our treatment of ourselves or others who are here on Earth WITH US, all heading straight back to Him Who MADE US. Personally, I shun conflict of ANY sort, and zip my lip rather than get emotionally embroiled, EXCEPT where a Divine Principle is at stake. THEN I cannot stand idly by. And I don't think you could either (you wouldn't let your beloved wife or children or friends be murdered in front of your eyes while just standing there staring and doing nothing to help, I'm sure.). Because I feel that the General Peace here at H2H IS being rocked, I am speaking now, rather than standing in the shadows "quaking". The FRUIT of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) is DELICIOUS!! Once one has tasted even most of it, one wants "it ALLLLLLL !! "

Alan, i think it is unfair that you describe yourself as if you are the victim....no one is attacking you Alan....no one here at H 2 H gives to you what you have not given to them....if you prefer to use scriptures and that is all, then why not go to a forum where this is the normal....here at h 2 h everything is accepted...we have all accepted you alan, it is you who have not accepted what we put forth if you think it cannot be proved by scriptures.....you are always on the attack alan....you jump in with your scriptures to try to disprove anothers person's journey....it is not your place to do this...that is all that we are trying to tell you....your truth is your truth...my truth is my truth....it is all the same truth, just being at different places in the search.....alan, you dont have to be so defensive, and you dont have to worry about anyone else's journey but your own...we are all trying to work out our own salvation...GOD is ALL in ALL at ALL times...He is part of every conversation here, because he is part of ALL of us here taking part in the conversation....what i really would like you to do is relax, just work out Alan's salvation, and everyone else here will work out theirs in turn....there is no right nor wrong, there is ONLY GOD who is ALL in ALL LOVE here...

BOP but I AM aware of the gist of the NT. The gist?? Summerland; if you prefer to use scriptures and that is all, then why not go to a forum where this is the normal. This is intolerance. here at h 2 h everything is accepted. I know Gary Sigler say's so but some others will say to leave or go somewhere else like you just did. we have all accepted you alan. O really, if I’m accepted then you wouldn’t be wondering why I stay and don’t leave and go to another form. If that's your kind of acceptance I don‘t care for it? but i have seen you being very nasty in a private email to me. O, so to you, this is nasty when I said I don’t care about what you think, just tell me what you know. Taking a phrase from Forrest Gump, “that’s all I have to say about that”.
