From Dan Brown's new book, The Lost Symbol... (I left out some of the quotation marks and he said she said stuff...)
Perhaps you have heard about the brain scans taken of yogis while they meditate? The human brain in advanced states of focus will physically create a wax-like substance from the pineal gland. This brain secretion is unlike anything else in the body. It has an incredible healing effect, can literally regenerate cells and may be one of the reasons yogis live so long. This is real science. This substance has inconceivable properties and can be created only by a mind that is highly tuned to a deeply focused state. Yes and on that topic, you’re familiar with the Bible’s account of manna from heaven? You mean the magical substance that fell from heaven? Exactly. The substance was said to heal the sick, provide everlasting life and strangely cause no waste in those that consumed it. A kind of nourishment that fell from heaven – she said tapping her temple. Magically heals the body? Creates no waste? Don’t you see these are code words! Temple is code for your body! Heaven is code for the mind! Jacob’s ladder is your spine! And manna is this rare brain secretion. When you see these code words in Scripture pay attention. They are often markers for a more profound meaning concealed beneath the surface. Her words were coming in rapid fire succession now, explaining how this magical substance appeared throughout the Ancient Mysteries; Nectar of the Gods, Elixir of Life, Fountain of Youth, Philosopher’s Stone, ambrosia, dew, ojas, soma. Then she launched into an explanation about the brains pineal gland representing the all-seeing eye of God. Matthew 6:22 – when your eye is single then you whole body is full of light…

So, the "manna" is "Sweet Love" ( 'honey' from the "waxy 'honeycomb' " [in effect] ) ?? (Isn't THAT what REALLY counts?)

This spoke volumes to me this day, as to say it spoke to the primitive inner being within me. As to yes I remember! Oh how wonderful to witness to this...
Scriptures tell us of choices and yes we have a choice. Choose this day whom you will serve. Or to meditate on and delight ourselves in the Lord. I know I'm paraphrasing but the bottom line is the true oneness we can obtain through true meditation on the Lord...
I know this all sounds New-Age, but when Jesus walked and taught amongst the multitudes, was his words not New to those lives he touched? Did he not expose the hearts of the Priests of the day? Yes Christ did bring in a new day and age, and let us not forget how Jesus himself would go off alone and meditate and pray to the Father. Only to come back and demonstrate his oneness with the Father.
Thank you for sharing this Barbara, it has caused me to dig deeper within myself and draw even closer to our Father...

Yes,Barbara, I too find this an intriguing invitation into incarnational immanence..... 'intrigue'..... sounds 'mysterious' and esoteric.... offering the 100th sheep in these 'temple corrals' an exit-epiphany to breakthrough!!!!
We quest via WONDER in the age-old darkness of doubt.... like ALICES who find and drink the REDUCING potion...or is that a LEACHING of toxins potion?

This is the true meaning of "God is all in all".
He was and never bound by anything, whether of medicine,science,Astronomy,Symbology and all others.
Only the religious people will repeat burning Galileo to the stake...Though they never did. Haha...

The new Dan Brown book is opening up mainstream dialouge about some real esoteric stuff its great. It allowed my Mom and I to have a conversation that normally would not have occurred if it were not for his book.
That secretion from the Pineal gland is called DMT.
You can youtube some clips about people who use it as a recreational drug.. Its interesting to note that when people describe its effects they never talk about how it gets a person "high"... They describe the realm it takes them to.. Shaman have been using it for hundreds of years. DMT can be found in almost all living plants as well as the Human body. Its now known that at the moment of death the Brain floods DMT throughout itself and it literally is the bridge to the next realm..
Another guy who talks about Symbols pretty extensively is William Henry google him and he has a lot of interesting stuff.. Oh and happy birthday Barb 30 is the age when one moves into the King Priesthood..
